Vicki Williams, PhD is a psychologist who has a particular interest in the developmental origins of the links between stress and physical health. Special interests include the relationship between early life stress and fertility health, and the mediating role of stress in health behaviours such as smoking, alcohol use, and dietary choices. Her evidence-based therapeutic approach emphasises cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, mindfulness-based, and biofeedback therapies that together address the psychological and physical consequences of chronic stress.

Vicki aims to build greater awareness of stress as a physical as well as a psychological problem, and of the need for integrative treatments that address the links between stress and health risks across the lifespan.
